Coming to us from Suffolk originally, and now Chesapeake, Jessica Harrell is in her second year on our 3's team and will be Julie's 3 day 3's teaching assistant. A mommy and school volunteer for many years, Jessica is excited to see the classroom from this side now. Jessica will probably find her bag/purse obsession put to good use as she plays Make Believe with her young students! Philippians 4:13

Becky Fraley’s five years of work in a preschool environment makes her a loving and well-experienced teacher assistant in our 3 day 3s program. Becky was born and raised in Portsmouth and now lives in Chesapeake giving her many deep connections to our community. In fact, she tells us that as a child, she was a regular on a local Christian children’s television program. Any guesses as to which one? John 3:15-16

Gail Irwin joined KinderPrep last year as a 3 day 3's teacher. A local girl from right across the river in Hampton, Gail is actively involved in the Western Branch community. You may already know Gail as a former PTA Officer, Girl Scout Leader, Library volunteer or Sunday School teacher at Aldersgate. And just in case you ever need some, Gail says she always has gum in her purse! Proverbs 3:5-6
We are excited to have Jo Ellen Portnell join us for her second year as a teaching assistant with Mrs. Gail in the 3 Day 3's. Jo Ellen brings with her much experience from her work in family day care and area preschools and her time spent volunteering at Western Branch Primary. Interestingly, Jo Ellen says she loves the beach but would rather not go in the water. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Originally from the northwest, Jennifer Winch has lived in Portsmouth for 12 years. Beginning her 11th year at KinderPrep, Jennifer finds herself moving to the 3's program and looking forward to preparing them for the 4 year old program. Jennifer loves to read books, magazines and the daily paper.

Debbie Canady is from right here in good ol’ Virginia – Portsmouth and Chesapeake. In her 12th year at KinderPrep, Debbie's passion is teaching the 4 day 3s. Debbie loves sitting on the beach in Nags Head, collecting shells, watching people and enjoying the quiet calm of a beach evening. Believe it or not, Debbie is addicted to the sound of a whirling fan, which puts her to sleep every night. Philippians 4:6 and I Corinthians 13:4-13
Shannon Johnson has been a Western Branch girl for 31 years. In her seveth year as a teaching assistant, Shannon is a Teaching Assistant with Mrs. Debbie. Shannon loves spending time with her family where her favorite family activities include watching her daughter play softball and volleyball and her son play baseball. You may not know that Shannon worked 11 years as an orthodontic assistant. Luke 6:31
