TransKindergarten
Barbara Osborne has taught several levels at KinderPrep in her 16 years as a teacher here (3’s, 4’s, Trans K, and Kindergarten). Highly flexible and patient, she adapts her structured teaching style to meet the needs of each student to help them discover those lightbulb moments which she loves to see. Barbara works with some of our older students in the “Search and Teach” program. A loving mom to two boys, Barbara somehow manages to find time to knit, do cross-stitch, read, and complete puzzles. Barbara rode horses competitively for eight years but didn’t break her first bone until she was 34 years old!
Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Philippians 4:6
Shannon Johnson wears a double hat in her 14th year at KinderPrep. Not only does she work with Trans K, but she helps in our Kindergarten classrooms in the afternoon. An out-of-the-box thinker herself, Shannon lovingly and patiently encourages her students to become independent scholars and problem solvers. One of her favorite things about teaching is when her students realize they are capable of doing new things. Both of her children attended KinderPrep and now that they are older, Shannon can often be found cheering them on during their volleyball and baseball games. In her spare time, Shannon loves spending time at the beach with her family.
Now faith, hope, and love remain—those three things—and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
