Teacher Assistants ("Floater")
Becky Fraley has been at KinderPrep nine years and currently works as a floating teacher assistant. When asked to describe herself in three words, Becky said, “I’m always smiling,” and we must agree! Always with a sunny disposition, she emanates a calming influence over the children she works with. She studied education/marketing at Old Dominion University. Becky’s favorite thing to do outside of school is spend time with her family and grandchildren. Did you know that when she was young, Becky was on a children’s television show? Her nickname when she was little was “Little Foots.” Ask her why.
Nancy Lichty has been an educator at KinderPrep for nearly two decades! As a member of New Creation UMC, she works in the church nursery as well. She enjoys working with children because of their excitement to learn and explore the world. Highly attuned to her students, Nancy adjusts her teaching style to their individual needs. Loving, kind, and loyal, Nancy is a lifelong learner and child advocate. When not participating in 5K races, which she does for fun, you can find Nancy spending time with her family. She proudly served in the Coast Guard!
The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23
